Crossroads Properties Newsletter-December 2018

So much time has passed since our last newsletter in March, it was hard to know where to begin!!! It has been an exciting year for us at Crossroads as we have welcomed many members to the Crossroads family, including tenants and team members. We also have some positive events to look forward to in 2019. We hope you will take a few minutes to get up to date!

Team Member Changes

Crossroads Properties has added three new team members!  Mary Heymans started in May as an Administrative Assistant working the morning shift.  I suspect many of you have had the opportunity to hear her smiling voice on the phone.  Tom Telgenhoff has been in the role of Operations Manager since July.  As he will likely attest to, he has learned a lot in a short period of time and is keeping the department running smoothly.  Finally, Jeff Born came on board at the beginning of December as an Operations Technician.  We are thrilled to have all of them join us in serving our tenants.  Please introduce yourself as the opportunity arises!

In addition, it is with great sadness that we share that Dan Dolan passed away on November 28th at the age of 91.  Dan joined our team in 2016 and made great contributions to our business over the past several years.  Click here for an article from 2016 about Dan and Zac’s start with Crossroads in 2016 and here for a link to his obituary.

Congratulations to David Johnson, who has wrapped up his final term on the Stillwater Township Board after 37 years of service.  Click here to read a recent article in the Pioneer Press about his service.

Keyot, a long-time tenant at Crossroads Business Center 2,  has once again made the list of the 100 Best Companies to work for in 2018!   Congratulations on this great honor!

Food Truck Events

Late in the summer we decided to try hosting a couple food truck lunches at our Crossroads of Oakdale location.  We received positive feedback from tenants and plan to do this regularly in 2019.  If you have any suggested food trucks to invite to our locations, please email Dawn at DWessels@crossroadsproperties.net .

Building Lighting Upgrades

We are in the process of evaluating options for upgrading lighting to LED at all of our properties.  If your building and/or suite will be impacted, you will be notified and provided additional details in the near future.  As you might already know, the benefits of making lighting efficiency improvements for your business include:

  • Upgrading to long-lasting, high-efficiency LEDs helps reduce energy use and lower replacement and maintenance costs;
  • They are cooler, generating less heat, reducing cooling costs;
  • Improve the light quality in your business; the color closely resembles daylight, making colors crisp; they emit no UV and very little IR rays;
  • LED lights are more ecologically friendly; the use of one LED light saves the material and production of 25 incandescent light bulbs.

New Tenants

Crossroads Commerce Center: 650-710 Commerce Drive, Woodbury

Woodbury Dance Center is expanding their existing Woodbury location and adding studios at 650 Commerce Drive, Suite 100.  Woodbury Dance Center is a family-orientated dance studio offering quality dance instruction for ages 18 months to adults.

 

Interior Impressions relocated to 650 Commerce Drive, Suite 140, in August.  We are excited to provide their new home for meeting with clients to help design spaces that are carefully crafted to enhance their lifestyle and to make their home a place they love to be. Millwork Development, LLC, has occupied Suite 210 at 680 Commerce Drive since October; they provide software solutions for the millwork industry.  To learn more about their services, click here.

Ambrose Law offices in Suite 271 at 680 Commerce Drive; they joined us in June of this year.   Robert Ambrose is the owner, and he provides criminal defense services, “Helping good people in unfortunate situations.”  He can be reached via his website: ambroselaw247.com.

Virtue Analytics, LLC, has been operating in Suite 272 at 680 Commerce Drive since April.  They are a boutique consulting and data analytics firm that leverages advanced analytics and machine learning to build predictive data models and platforms for their clients. We have another therapy group in our portfolio: Murphy Psychological Services  is located at 700 Commerce Drive, Suite 280. They are an outpatient psychotherapy clinic that specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults with mental health concerns. Crossroads of Oakdale:  7200-7250-7300 Hudson Blvd N, Oakdale

Prime Choice Insurance is an independent insurance agency that offices in Suite 107A at 7200 Hudson Blvd N.  They are contracted with over 20 insurers for Medicare health insurance and with insurers selling Affordable Care Act health insurance plans on the exchange.  Click here for more information on services provided.

Midwest Medical has an office located at 7200 Hudson Blvd N, Suite 111.  They are headquartered in Kansas City, MO, and represent companies that provide products for surgical needs.

 

Velassa now has a distribution facility at 7200 Hudson Blvd N, Suite 165. Velaasa is a team of athletic professionals who rally for track and field athletes at all levels across the nation. Telemetry & Process Controls is expanding!  This is their third expansion since occupying Suite 160 at 7250 Hudson Blvd N in 2012.   They are a family run business that has applied their extensive knowledge and experience in controls manufacturing and engineering to developing a technology based company, with processes that specialize in the manufacturing of high quality custom control panels for the water, wastewater, environmental, OEM, DoD, and fueling industries.

ShelterTech now has a facility at 7500 Hudson Blvd N.  They provide asbestos/mold testing and removal, environmental consulting, and contracting.

Tanners Building:  2757 Hudson Blvd N, Oakdale

We have some changes at Crossroads Business Center 2:   Small Tree Communications has relocated to Suite 649, and Symlogix (their parent company) is now occupying Suite 645.  This is their fourth move with us since becoming a Crossroads tenant in 2005.

Lake Elmo Bank Building:  600 Inwood Ave N, Oakdale
